Highest Resolution, Multi-camera Capture 4DGS

Our in-house production company, Platewerx, arrived at the Riviera Country Club recently to do something never done before. Although 4DGS (4D Gaussian Splatting) is all the buzz right now, we took it to the next level by setting up 44 RED Komodo cameras to capture some of the best golf swings in the world. RED's global shutter, 6K resolution, and superior color science (16-bit R3D RAW) allowed us to capture and reconstruct motion as high fidelity volumetric video. The project was a huge success, and this process is sure to be a very valuable tool for VFX in television and film.
